Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities  

Working closely with the Head of Marketing (who you’ll be reporting to), the successful applicant will support our annual marketing strategy and marketing activities. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about marketing and diversity and inclusion and a team player. This is a role to challenge and inspire the right person, with excellent prospects for growth with the company.

This role will involve working with the whole of our team and our external consultants, to identify new themes and topics and develop new content, and clients on case studies and PR. You will have exposure to a wide range of different marketing tactics and channels and have active input into our marketing campaign planning and idea generation.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing and Client Solutions team during your induction, and we’ll provide you with all the insights and knowledge you need to make a success of this role.

This role provides critical support for us to grow our marketing activities and increase engagement with our clients across a wide range of industries. We’re looking for someone who demonstrates the following competencies.

  • A proven ability in copywriting and creating engaging content.
  • A demonstratable understanding of content and social media marketing.
  • Willingness to learn and has the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong attention to detail, including grammatical and factual accuracy.
  • Creative and ideas orientated.
  • An understanding of how to collect, analyse and use marketing data.

Experience, knowledge, skills and competencies   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to deliver the annual marketing plan, creating new thought leadership content and campaigns.
  • Responsible for daily posting across our social media channels (LinkedIn & Twitter).
  • Creation of email newsletters and promotional campaigns (evaluating impact, increasing sign ups).
  • Support new content creation including blogs, podcasts, marketing collateral (brochures, infographics etc.) and more.
  • Case studies – liaising with team to source content and achieve client sign off on new case studies.
  • Support updates to the website, monitoring traffic and working with our agency to implement SEO improvements and PPC.
  • Assist with event organisation and delivery.
  • Supporting reporting requirements on performance against targets across – social media accounts, Google Analytics for website, Mailchimp for newsletters.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong copywriting and proofing skills.
  • Ability to effectively plan, curate and post content on social media.
  • Experience in digital marketing and creating SEO-friendly website content.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of different writing styles and tones of voice.
  • Confidence to present and explain ideas to colleagues and customers.
  • A creative flair for design with an understanding of visual communications.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritising workload with efficiency.
  • Ability to work with a design team, collaborating on creative projects.
  • Previous marketing career experience essential.

Terms: We offer a flexible business model in which all types of working arrangements will be considered. The role is for 37.5 hours per week and the successful candidate is required to start as soon as possible.

Location: We operate a hybrid working model, with a minimum of two days in the office per week, splitting our time between our office in Central London (Old Street) and home. Our clients are based around the UK and further afield so the role may require travel.
