Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities  

The Role

We are creating a new hybrid Project Manager role to work across our client solutions and project management teams to support our growth of new business client enquiries and deliver successful client outcomes. This person will work between both teams based on business needs.

We are looking for an experienced project manager with a strong passion for and experience of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) who is comfortable working with clients from initial enquiry through to project delivery.

The successful applicant will be the primary point of contact between our clients, consultants, and the operations team coordinating people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and within budget and produce the desired results at the highest quality. You will be responsible for developing winning proposals through strategic messaging, ensuring we are articulating the best story and value to clients in compelling and differentiated ways, developing innovative deliverables to visually tell that story, and strong project management skills to ensure the clients problems are solved. As project manager you will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organisation and timeline.

You’ll be able to draw upon your previous background experience in DEI, business skills, management, budgeting and analysis. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks; you also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.

You will work closely with the Project Management and Client Solutions teams during your induction to gain the knowledge and insight to make a success of this role, and thereafter we work with a high level of autonomy and are results focused.

Your opinion matters, so we’ll love it if you come to the senior management team with ideas on how we can improve our solutions.

We offer a hybrid working model; however you will be required to be in the office on some days, the ability to travel to our London office is required.

Experience, knowledge, skills and competencies   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend client calls to inform the creation of proposals and tender documents
  • Translate technical information and business jargon into clear, consistent, and grammatically correct solutions-based DEI content
  • Capture, shape, and synthesize information to reflect a cohesive message, written in one voice
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations, leave-behinds, and handouts for meetings with prospective clients
  • Work with the Head of Client Solutions and other team members to understand proposal planning and delivery
  • Support bid opportunities for new business activities
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party suppliers for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are deliveredon-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimiseproject risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third party suppliers
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Close the project – this includes evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for your next project.
  • Ensuring our internal project management and CRM systems are up to date with all relevant proposal information, billable day, client and contract information.

 
Person Specification

  • Have a genuine interest and passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, coupled with a willingness to keep up to date with industry trends, regulations and legislation.
  • You will be positive, practical and creative in your approach to your work with consultants, clients, suppliers and with the team.
  • You can work collaboratively, and you are a natural problem-solver with the ability to work across departments within the business.
  • You are confident communicator, results orientated and able to lead and execute big picture project work.
  • The pace of work is often fast, as you will be responding to business needs. The successful applicant will be able to work to tight deadlines.
  • You have knowledge of technical systems (examples: Scoro, Hubspot, Articulate Rise, etc.)
  • You will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude which will inspire others in the team with your ability to overcome challenges in a positive way.
  • Able to work autonomously and organise your own work with minimum supervision
  • Have the ability and experience to follow directions from multiple sources and determine priorities as needed
  • You will have a genuine passion and belief that people are treated as equals, that people receive the dignity and respect they deserve and that their differences are celebrated.

Terms: We offer a flexible business model in which all types of working arrangements will be considered. The role is for 37.5 hours per week and the successful candidate is required to start as soon as possible.

Location: We operate a hybrid working model, with a minimum of one to two days in the office per week, splitting our time between our office in Central London (Old Street) and home. Our clients are based around the UK and further afield so the role may require travel.
